Dawn of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is a 2D-animated superhero-action-comedy-drama-science fantasy series based on the fictional superhero team.
Plot[]
The story takes place in New York City borough of Manhattan. Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello and Michelangelo are four mutant turtle brothers and it is their duty to protect New York City from evildoers. Ranging from space aliens, magical entities, mutants and gangsters, new creatures and villains emerge to take on the brothers in battles across New York City.

Ninja Turtles[]
- Leonardo - Leonardo (nickname Leo or "Leon") is the courageous and enthusiastic leader of the Ninja Turtles. He wears a bright navy blue mask and wields two katana swords.
- Raphael - Raphael (nickname Raph) is the hot-blooded rebel of the Ninja Turtles. He wears a red mask and wields two sai.
- Donatello - Donatello (nickname Donnie or "Don") is the brainy pacifist of the Ninja Turtles. He wears a royal purple mask and wields a high-tech bō (staff).
- Michelangelo - Michelangelo (nickname Mikey or "Michael") is the free-spirited and energetic prankster of the Ninja Turtles. He wears an orange mask and wields two nunchucks.
Supporting Characters[]
- Master Splinter - A humanoid mutant brown rat who is the Ninja Turtles' sensei and father figure. He wears a dark orange kimono with black trims.
- April O'Neil - A teenage redhead girl who is the human friend of the Ninja Turtles.
Villains[]
- Foot Clan - A criminal ninja organization bent on taking over New York City. They are equipped with ancient and futuristic weaponry and equipment.
- Shredder - The leader of the Foot Clan and the arch-enemy of the Ninja Turtles.
- Baxter Stockman - The mad scientist who is responsible for creating Mousers.
